Here’s what I’m up to now (October 2025):
• I have submitted the final manuscript for my book, The Minds We Want: A Theory of Mental Health, which is under contract with Oxford University Press.
• My philosophical psychotherapy group has begun, and is still open to new participants.
• I am accepting new clients in my private practice, with some availability via telehealth as well as in person at my office near Harvard Square in Cambridge.
• With my colleague Bret Schermerhorn, I am teaching a continuing education course on “Philosophy for Psychotherapists”
• I am also teaching two courses this fall: an undergraduate course on the philosophy of mind at Simmons University, and a first-year seminar on the psychology of romantic relationships at Lesley University.
• I continue to write on topics in mental health at my Substack, Presenting Problems, as well as at my ongoing blog, Philosophy and Therapy, at Psychology Today.
